Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who is Defence
Minister, said ministry officials were interviewing a person who
had snapped a picture of the aircraft to learn where he was when he
took the picture so that it could be ascertained whether the
aircraft was in Malaysian airspace then.
I am puzzled? Why are they still using the MK1 eye ball method
despite having radars? The article from Bernama gives the
impression that the Malaysian Mindef only comes to know of this
matter when some civilians have visually and audioly spotted the
'UFO'. The Defence Minister mentioned nothing of what their radars
have detected at all.
If some of you militarynuts have noticed, one of their chinese
newspapers ( provided by lionnoisy) also mentioned of a patrol of 3
helicopters when they officially started works on the bridge. I
suspect they are trying to divert the attention of the masses in
Malaysia from the recent fuel prices hike. They almost without fail
will resort to such 'Singapore bashing' tactic when they are having
some sort of problems such as during their GE in the period of the
financial crisis in the late 90s. That is a time of great unrest in
the region, many SEA governments have been desposed such as Suharto.
